Does
NET fix emotions?
No,
NET does not fix emotions. In fact, emotions are normal and
do not need to be fixed. However, when emotional responses
get stuck and continually affect the body in an inappropriate
way, they become a component within a Neuro Emotional Complex
(NEC). NET removes stuck NEC
patterns in the body which do not resolve themselves naturally.
SPECIAL
NOTE: NET treatment is not a substitute for psychological
or psychiatric therapy.
Does
every emotional event produce an NEC?
Of
course not. Everyday we resolve countless emotional events
on our own. It's only when our body's resistance is compromised
and we can't discharge the emotion normally, that an NEC may
be created.
Could
someone have an NEC and not be aware of it?
Yes.
For example, say a young boy was forced against his will to
get an injection in a doctor's office. Now as an adult he
may feel tense in any doctor's office, and may not have the
slightest idea why. Symptoms associated with this NEC may
result in increased pain and dysfunction and can be helped
with NET.
Is
NET treatment safe?
Yes.
Qualified practitioners correct an NEC with a safe and gentle
method. The entire procedure is not unpleasant, and often
patients express immediate relief following the correction.
How
many NECs need to be corrected?
It
is unknown how many NECs an individual may have accumulated
thus far in his or her life. The object of NET is to peel
off an NEC layer in the natural timing of the body's own healing
wisdom.
What
happens after an NEC is treated?
Correcting
an NEC stabilizes the body and resolves physiological imbalances.
The underlying negative emotion now loses its impact and is
less likely to be re-stimulated. When an NEC is eliminated,
your nervous system can work better. It is important to realize
that correcting an NEC won't make life's problems go away.
However, a person with a strong nervous system can usually
deal with life's problems more effectively.
Does
this take the place of psychotherapy?
No.
Locating and correcting an emotional block does not take the
place of counseling, analysis or other helpful forms of psychological
therapy. Appropriate referrals are made between NET Mind-oriented
practitioners and NET Body-oriented practitioners when indicated.
The correction of an NEC is purely a physiological process
conducted by trained practitioners.
