The
Amazing Story of NET
In 1985, Dr. Scott Walker had already been a chiropractor
for 20 years with a very successful practicethe fulfillment
of a boyhood dream. However, in some cases, no matter what
he tried, some patients just didn't get better. This bothered
him a lot. He suspected that their problems might be partly
emotional, but was unable to effectively deal with this component.
About
this time, Dr. Walker attended a seminar that would change
his life forever. Present at this seminar was a chiropractor
by the name of Jennifer LaMonica, who demonstrated how she
had adjusted a patient who had just been in a car accident
and after making the adjustment, the patient started talking
about the situation that had brought him into her office.
Upon retesting the corrections she had just made, she found
that the corrections she had just made were immediately out
of place; as if she had never made the adjustments at all.
Next, she had the patient think of the accident while she
again made the adjustments, with the result being that this
time the corrections held.
This
was FASCINATING to Dr. Walkerreally fascinating! For some
time, Dr. Walker had already been studying a lot of acupuncture,
homeopathy, nutrition, muscle testing and a lot of other things
related to healing. At this point, it all came together for
him. He thought, "what if we could deal with the emotional
component of health by making our correction while the patient
was in that emotional state."
He
soon put together the pieces which would eventually become
NET, using specific reflex points and correlations of emotions
from ancient acupuncture meridians to help the patient focus
on a particular emotion. Using muscle testing, he was also
able to assist the patient in quickly pinpointing the original
incident that gave rise to the emotionally-triggered conditioned
response. He theorized that once these had been identified,
he might be able to correct the emotional imbalance simply
by having the patient think about the incident while he adjusted
the spine. As it turned out, he was very, very right and powerful
results started happening.
Amazingly,
chronic problems were now resolving for the first time! Patients
began excitedly sharing their dramatic results with others.
Soon, local practitioners in the area were asking Dr. Walker,
"Exactly what are you doing?" With the simple explanation
of what he was doing, came their request that he share and
demonstrate this technique in a seminar.
So
he did. From there, the demand for NET has grown so that today,
Drs. Scott and Deborah Walker travel almost constantly, sharing
NET to eager practitioners of all disciplines. The stories
of dramatic results just keep pouring in. And, not only do
they tell of the patients' successes, but they also tell of
how much the practitioners benefit personally and professionally
as well.
