NET has been part of my life personally and professionally since November 2001. From my first experience with NET, I knew that I had found something very special for both my personal healing and my ability to help others heal.
My work as a psychologist has been enriched beyond expectation after being trained as a NET practitioner, and even more so after Certification. I feel confident about my ability to help my clients’ emotional pain because I have NET (literally) at my fingertips. The results it creates are consistently positive. I have used NET for a variety of presenting complaints, among others, separation anxiety and school phobia, sexual performance problems, interpersonal conflict, post-traumatic stress, various phobias, negative habits, stress-related disorders, anxiety, depression, psychological issues affecting physical problems, and difficulties with weight loss. NET is also highly effective in helping people achieve personal growth.

A new client came to see me with a history of interpersonal difficulties both socially and at work. She felt in danger of losing yet another job. Through NET, she identified and released the physiological effects of emotions repressed during middle school, when she had been bullied mercilessly by other girls. Ana (not her real name) was able to let go of fear, anger, low self-esteem, mistrust and shame. A couple of weeks after doing this NET work, Ana reported marked improvement in her ability to be assertive at work, and had, for the first time since high school, enjoyed herself during a social activity with former school mates. This created a cascade of positive outcomes for Ana, with an increased sense of self-worth.
A man in his fifties presented with marked emotional distress over his inability to achieve orgasm during intercourse after a lifetime of normal functioning. He had recently lost his business and faced an uncertain financial future. A single NET intervention addressing his feelings of stress, achieved very satisfying results for my client and his wife.
A family sought treatment with me because of escalating "acting out" on the part of their 16-year-old daughter, whom I will call Marie. The adolescent and her mother (Lucy) were relating only in hostile terms, and there had been no affection between them for about a year. Both were clearly hurt and angry with each other. I used an application of NET, which was created by Dr. Larry Goodman and presented at a 1999 NET conference, for interpersonal difficulties where NET is applied to each person using the other as the stimulus. The results were astounding. Marie put her arms around her mother as Lucy was tearfully releasing her anguish over losing her younger sister to drugs 20 years earlier. Marie was able to see first-hand that her mother’s strict rules came from Lucy’s fear of losing her, and not from lack of love.
For myself, I have found that after getting treated with NET, not only do I feel better about the issue I came to address, but also, I often get unintended benefits in other areas of my life. There seems to be a generalization effect that results in unexpected problem areas clearing as well. For example, I recently had the opportunity to be part of a demonstration during a NET SUCCESS seminar, in which I was addressing my goal of reducing my tendency to do too much; the work was cathartic and profound, healing areas of childhood losses that I had not even known were there. As the weeks went by, I started to notice that my typical, long-term patterns of buying two of everything, and signing up for any and all trainings that came my way, had not been happening. And, to my delight, my overeating stopped as well. I look better, feel better, and have saved lots of money too. I can’t wait until my next NET SUCCESS!
