NET Practitioner Profile

Cathy Goldstein, A.P.
Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida

Years ago when I took my first NET seminar, I was like a lot of other practitioners in that I was overly dedicated and underpaid. Translation, I worked a lot of hours and was not accumulating funds in my savings account.

After the NET Basic, I took my first NET SUCCESS seminar and that’s where I gained a huge personal insight:  I had the need to save and fix everyone!  In fact, this perception made so much sense when I looked back on my life patterns. I was the fixer in the family and friends. Naturally, I also extended this into my practice. At SUCCESS I got a lot of personal work done, and I also got congruent with taking a vacation (…after working on the idea that my patients could actually survive without me!).  By the time I returned from the SUCCESS seminar, my office staff had already scheduled several new patients — really “good” patients, who all wanted to get well!  What a change.

Oh, and as far as the savings part, that was another NET SUCCESS seminar for me. Believe it or not, my biggest issue came down to not wanting to out-earn my father on some subconscious level.  Addressing that issue has made an incredible difference in my ability to now accumulate savings.

I have taken over 20 NET seminars, and I have been able to put so many valuable pieces of the puzzle of my life in place with each and every one of them.

As far as my patients, I have tons of stories with amazing results  — sometimes with only one or two treatments!  Here’s just one of the amazing examples of how NET has helped my patients.

Sandra, a 26-year-old woman came to my office several years ago in the month of July.   She was weak, extremely under-weight and listless.  In taking her history, I found that she had been in a severe auto accident in February, and then in April traveled with a friend to the Caribbean.

While on vacation in the Caribbean, she and her friend both got food poisoning – however, Sandra did not recover from it.  Sandra’s symptoms of nausea, diarrhea and vomiting persisted, and she went in and out of the hospital numerous times.  To worsen matters, on her final visit to the hospital to get an IV for dehydration and nutrition, she developed an allergic reaction to the tubing from the IV.

At this point the doctors told her there was simply nothing more they could do – she should go home and try to stay hydrated as much as possible.  For Sandra, they might as well have said: “Go home; you’re going to die; and there is nothing we can do for you.”

As healing professionals, we are accustomed to sometimes getting our patients’ last-hope story – but in this situation, I really needed to come up with something that was going to work fast.

I discovered that when Sandra was 6 years old, her beloved mother had died.  Her mother was 26 years old at the time of her death. Through a series of NET stress-response testing, I found that Sandra had a sub-conscious belief that she too would die at the age of 26.   Interestingly, all of the health challenges and traumatic events that had occurred for Sandra this past year, commenced after her own 26th birthday in February.

The problem I faced in helping Sandra was “time.”  She was carried into my office, and she needed help fast — western medicine had simply given up.  I needed to find a way to restore her organ and meridian balance immediately.

This is how I took charge: I asked Sandra if she wanted to live. On a conscious or analytical level she replied:  “Yes, I want to live.”  However, when I used stress-response testing to check this concept, she tested as NOT being congruent with living.  That is to say that her neo-cortex “thinking” brain wanted to live, but there was some part of her emotional “limbic” brain that wasn’t fully on board.  The NET process helped us to resolve this conflict and then she tested as congruent with wanting to live. Many years later, Sandra is thriving in business, in her marriage, and now has a healthy child of her own!

As practitioners, we can see miracles every day in our offices, and I am thankful to not only have the tools to heal, but also the understanding of the workings behind these powerful healing instruments. I still marvel at the amazing results, both personally and professionally, and I cannot begin to express the gratitude I have for NET.
